Run your team. Assign courses. Watch IQ climb.

Slide 1 · Welcome

You're the Team Manager.

The club owner brought you in to run a single team. You decide who's on the squad and what they train.

You can:

  • Add and remove players, set their login names and reset their passwords.
  • Use the sample courses your team starts with — each course is a small bundle of pitch decisions — and archive any you don't want.
  • Author custom courses and the decisions inside them with the visual pitch editor.
  • Restore an archived course any time to give your players a fresh shot at first-try IQ.
  • Watch the team leaderboard.

Account-level things (creating new teams, switching managers, billing) stay with the club owner.

Slide 2 · Step 1

Open My team.

That's your hub. Everything else hangs off it.

From the top bar:

  • My team — team summary and quick links.
  • Players — the squad.
  • Courses — the bundles of decisions your players are training on.

Tip: the team's name, format and age group are all set by the club owner. If they change, drop them a message and they'll fix it from Teams → Edit.

Slide 3 · Step 2

Add your players.

Open Players from the top bar. Click New player.

For each player you'll set:

  • Name — what shows on the leaderboard.
  • Login namedoes not have to be an email; pick something simple they'll remember (initials, jersey number, etc.).
  • Password — a temporary one. Tell them to change it on first sign-in via Profile → Edit.

You can reset a player's password from their Players → Edit page if they forget it.

Slide 4 · Step 3

Curate your courses.

Your team starts with a set of sample courses for your format — you decide what to keep. Open Courses from the top bar.

  • Each sample course (e.g. 5-a-side attacking fundamentals) appears on every player's /play page as a card from day one. No catalogue picker, no setup.
  • Done with a course? Archive it from the courses list to remove it from your players' /play page. Restore it any time for a fresh shot at first-try IQ.
  • Want something more tailored? Build a custom course (next slide) with the decisions you want.

Players don't see your curation choices — they just see their card list update.

Slide 5 · Step 4

Build your own course.

A custom course is a container for your hand-built decisions. Find it under Courses → My custom courses.

  1. Click New custom course, give it a title and a short description.
  2. Open the course and add decisions with the visual pitch editor — place teammates and opponents, drop the ball, and mark one option correct.
  3. Once the course has a decision or two, click Assign to my team from the course detail page so your players can play through it.

The pitch labels “Your goal” / “Opponent goal” are always shown, so you don't need to encode that in the description.

Slide 6 · Day-to-day

Track the squad.

Once players are training, the leaderboard tells you who's engaged and where they're strong.

  • Leaderboard ranks players by total Football IQ.
  • Each player's Profile shows their recent attempts and per-decision stars.
  • Spot a player who's stuck? Suggest the right moment in training.

IQ is awarded server-side based on how close their pin was to the ideal, so it's consistent across attempts.

Leaderboard · U10 Lions
01Alex M. 2,140 IQ
02Jamie R. 1,985 IQ
03Sam K. 1,720 IQ
